About Russell
Principia Mathematica attempted to ground all mathematics in logic. His paradox about sets that contain themselves broke Freges system. Won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1950. Was imprisoned twice for pacifist activities. Lived to 97 and remained politically active until the end. His History of Western Philosophy sold millions.
